Tools On Home Page
The tools are used to navigate the functions of the map. The tools allow the user to adjust not only what but also how they the map is displayed. Based on the tool selected, the map can be changed to show desired data.
Tool Bar
  • Arrow - Use arrow to pan
  • Drag zoom - Drag the mouse to zoom in
  • Full - return to the initial zoom level
  • Prev - takes you back to your previous view
  • Next - takes you to your next view
  • Measure - provides tools for calculating and measuring distance (Measure Distance) and area (Measure Area).
  • Clear map - clear select points, drag zoom functions and measurements

  • Move Dot - Move currnet loaction to other location
Legend
To choose from the different demographic options for the map select the down arrow to the right of Choose a Business Data and 7 different categories will show.
Show & Hide Legend
  • SHOW LEGEND (+) - SHOW LEGEND to select different demographics on the map
  • HIDE LEGEND (-) - HIDE LEGEND to select different demographics on the map
Sliding Scale Bar
Click the arrows or select a dash on the scale to control the map zoom.
Print
You will be given the option to either print landscape (PDF) or portrait (Image).
Layers
Simply select SHOW LAYERS TAB. This will allow you to view all the layers that can be displayed on the map. You can change what is shown on the map by clicking and unclicking the check marks available. The layers that are checked will be the layers that are currently displayed, you can turn these layers on/off by selecting and unselecting the layer. Once you are finished selecting your layers, simply select hide layers and the window will disappear.
Base map
switch to a basemap in the gallery from the current basemap. Simply select SWITCH BASEMAP and a window will appear, once the window appears you can view 9 different base maps. Simply select a base map. When finished simply select the SWITCH BASEMAP button.
